Apple II plus stuff WANTED

I just bought a used Apple II plus from my school (with 2 drives and monitor)
for $40.  I missed my Apple //c.
I am a Macintosh LC II user and have an ImageWriter II.  I am also hooked into
an AppleTalk network.

I was wondering about several things...
1) Could I hook an MFM hard drive from a PC into this computer?  What would
   I need to do this?
2) Can I hook the Apple II plus into the AppleTalk network.  It doesn't have
   to share its files (although it WOULD be nice!)...just access the printer
   or other servers.
3) Where can I find a free/dirt-cheap super serial card?
4) Where can I find a free/dirt-cheap clock?
5) My roomie is getting a II+ also...can we hook them together in any way?
6) I'm a CS, he's an EE...are there any specs we can use to make stuff?
7) Any suggestions (short of destroying the thing)?
8) I've heard stories about playing sound through the cassette port.  How?
