     1) Make sure your printer is actually plugged into com2
     2) Make sure you have your null modem device or appropriate
         other cable attached between the printer and IBM.
     3) Try 
          mode lpt1=com2
         since most software defaults to lpt1 (not lpt2).
     4) once it's working again, put your commands in a little .BAT
        file (or in your AUTOEXE.BAT file) so it is always handy.
