ImageWriter II -=> IBM Rehash?

At one time I had my IW II running nicely on my IBM, but for some reason
it's being stubborn again now (no problems on the GS, of course)

I have:

I have com2 set to 9600,8,n,1
mode lpt2=com2

but it won't go from either dos or windoze.  What cabling do I need (null modem
w/ a modem cable (GS to modem backwards)?  What other settings do I need?
