Just look for any ADB mouse or track ball.

I dunno, my Apple mouse gets dirty, and need cleaning once in a while.  
That's about it...

They cost varies, no more than $100 new I think...

Trackballs takes less space; but I've always found them harder to use than
mouse.  A mouse pad really doesn't take too much space any way.
