Greg - sounds like you are a perfect candidate to join a local users group.
 You can get some "hands-on" help from that type of sourct = much better
than slower, written poop via the net.

Arch - commonly known as ChipHead
sorry for the misspelled "sourct" - that's "source"

P. S.  You might even get some Phreak to come visit you with a wealth of
info, as others have done for me, and as I have done for others.
