I never had a problem with FV.  So it must be an INIT conflict.
Suggestion:  Keep FV, and chuck all your other INITS and desk accs
and FinderExts.  Then add the other add-ons, one ot 2 at a time.  I find
FinderView too valuable to not have.

Hmm.  On a slightly unrealted topic, I was having problems loading
Platinum Paint v2.0, AppleWorks 3 was crashing, ModZap and AudioZap
bombed, DBMaster crashed all the time.  Turns out that with my existing
combination of INITs/CDevs/DeskAccs, my little 1.5k TextTime CDA (shows
the GS time in upperright corner of text screen) was the culprit.
