Umm .... buy a cleanroom and the necessary technologie from Conner? :)
Seriously, there is nothing to it. I wouldn't recommend rolling your own
Power Supply top anyone (it can be done, and is not difficult, but it's
not cheaper than a bought one, and clumsier ...).
The easiest way is probabyl to
a) Buy an external case and stuff the HD into it or
b) Put the GS where it belongs, i.e. in a tower. That solves all peripheral
   problems for a while.
