        No.

        The review is right (I hope, I wrote it).  What in the ad made HP
sound like a block-level compressor?

        P8 stuff can be compressed with either one, but it would need to be
uncompressed before use.  Likewise, it could be placed on a HFS partition,
but it would need to be on a P8 partition to run.
