Hi,
Well I plugged in my Carte Blanche card and have been playing with it
on a GS (Currently in Slot1). I haven't had much luck getting disk
images to work beyond the demo ones, so I thought i would ask some
questions :-)
- Is there a limit to the number of files Carte Blanche can display on
initial menu?
- Does it support Folders?
- Do i have to use something special to convert disk images to .nib? I
used Ciderpress on about 6 .dsk images but only one got displayed and
that just crashed the machine when run (was Karateka).
- Finally can it support programs that use multiple disk images?
Its a very well made card and am impressed, the only thing is the SD
slot (especially in this early stage of testing when you are removing
the SD alot :-)) . Anyone know of a simple extension cable? I might
use a microSD card and put it in a SD adapter so i can then just pop
the small card rather than the whole thing.
Be nice to get GS Video modes ...hint hint ;-). Is there any damage in
running GS normally with the Carte Blanche installed, especially when
running GS/OS etc the Carte Blanche obviously doesn't know what todo
with the output and displays jumbled characters etc.
Cheers
Drew
