Well, I wrote one called CPUSpeed (ShareWare, $2), which is available on
America Online & wherever else other people have put it.  If you want, I can
post it to cba2.  It will work either as a shell utility (for Orca/GNO) or is
launchable from the Finder, etc.

It will tell you both how fast the computer is running "in a vacum [sic]" as
well as approximately how fast a program will see it as running (taking into
account any inits, etc you have loaded.) It also tells you what the TW says
the speed is.

By the way, the AppleTalk/IRQ setting decides whether to slow down the
computer during interrupts (On=slow down).  Usually, I leave it turned off,
but if you have any odd problems, leave it turned on & see if that helps
matters.
