If AutoMenus is not version 3.0b7, trash it and get 3.0b7.
Older versions, esp 2.0 are buggy, though some of the versions
that were inits had no known bugs. There will an even newer
version soon w/support for Hierarchic.

This is a known bug in System 6 that is fixed in 6.0.1.
The notes on the AppleDisk 5.25 driver in 6.0.1:
"On return from P8, the driver was looking for the Disk II card's ID bytes at
the wrong address...The drives did not show up in GS/OS after visiting P8."

Turning off "save Finder info" does not delete info that was previously saved.
Enable the showing of invisible files and delete Finder.data and Finder.root
files to make everything start out closed.
