Hmmm.. I should have been more clear - I too have seven hills software..
I was commenting on which I prefer ideally... who I think is going in
the proper direction... 
as for stuff working fine with The Manager  -  it may be so that stuff
written to conform to the APple Guidelines will work, but half of the 
'ware from Seven Hills themselves doesn't work...yet..ergo, I think
my point is still valid... 
 
   write to work with what already exists (even if it's not according to
Hoyle)
