Re: No-Slot Clock
** I have a no-slot clock in a enhanced 2e that has been working fine
**and still is running except for one minor problem. It now reads 4 Oct 19113
**"correct time" when the correct date and time is 2 Oct 1993 "correct time".
**The oquestion is why not reset the clock? Well as a result of its present
**reading the utility to do this now says there is no clock on the system
even
**as it shows the time ticking by.
** Does anyone know where there might be software or what things to
peek
** or poke to get this back to the 20th century?
*What version of ProDOS 8 are you using? It sounds like you're having that
*problem with the time-table in older versions of ProDOS 8. I believe
*the patch is located somewhere on the net. You might check the FAQ to
*see if this bug is mentioned. Try ftp-ing to apple2.archive.umich.edu
*and poke around the 8bit/ directory.

I have prodos 2.03. The no slot clock does not patch Prodos so the date
situation should not be a problem. I think while I was Beta testing some new
software I got a system crash that may have reset the clock to a mode that
the supplied software now thinks there is no clock installed.
