Well, I've never had the problem with being in a time warp like you
are experiencing, but I did have a similar problem with the utility not
recognizing that the clock was there. I finally figured it out after I
turned off my Zip Chip. The utility requires you to be at the standard
1mhz not at the 4 mhz that I normally run at. So if you have a Zip Chip,
turn it off and try to reset the date/time that way. If you don't have a
Zip Chip, try to get used to the future. :-)
