:Questions:
:1) Which do you want?
: A) indexes for each subdirectory
: B) indexes (i.e. foobar.txt) for each file
: C) one global index
Certainly, having indexes for each subdirectory would be useful. And
a global index is a great thing to have when you are looking for something
that might be in 8 or 10 of the directories. Personally, I don't think that
it would be necessary to take the 4 line description from the beginning of
the file and break it out - if someone wants to see a particular file's
description, let them fetch the entire file and read the 4 line.
That is - with one exception. If one is not going to have the version number
of a program in the program's name, then perhaps having a separate file
would permit the user to determine if that meg .shk is worth pulling over.

:2) Do you want
: A) BSQ files only
: B) SHK files only
: C) Both SHK & BSQ in same directory
: D) Both SHK & BSQ in seperate trees
I myself would rather see .SHK in general. Unfortunately, that gets
rid of that 4 line description of the package that you were inserting
in the BSQ :-( .
:
:3) Should the archive have:
: A) 16 char filenames for all files
: B) longer filenames (i.e. more descriptive)
I myself would prefer to see longer filenames. Let me abbreviate when I am
downloading if I need to (if I am going to a Mac HFS I might not have to...
