What version of AutoMenus is giving you problems?
If it earlier than 3.0b7, get rid of it and
get 3.0b7. Aside from running Galactic Conquest w/Tool069,
AutoMenus 3.0 has proven very reliable.
Unreleased b9 even recognizes Hierarchic's hierarchic menus and
keeps them pulled down.
