Connecting ImageWriter II to IBM

If I recall correctly there was a post just recently about how to connect
an ImageWriter II printer to an IBM COM port.  Of course, I can't find the
message now.  I thought it was from someone in AUS.

Anyways, I guess the question is:  I can get the printer connected and it
prints straight text just fine, (PRINT FILE.TXT), but I'd like to use it
with some software.  I understand that WordPerfect directly supports the
IW2, but I'd like to be able to print from Windows(tm) or OS/2(tm)
programs.

I think I remember someone saying that the IW2 was compatable with an IBM
ProPrinter or something.

Can anyone help me out?
