The same is true of my IIe at home.  It is always on - no problems in the 8
or so years it has been running.  I have some II+ that ran continuously for
several years too.

My GS Rom3 has been running continously for 2 years now.

Maybe I'm foolish, but I don't think leaving a machine on is bad on it at
all.  It is convenient to always have it ready to go when you sit down before
it!
