        Absolutely. You will need to purchase the printer drivers from 
either Vitesse or another company whose name I forget. A couple of other 
programs you should get are a print buffer as well as pointless.

        If you have enough memory you will find the whole system to be 
very flexible. The down side is that it is still quite slow (I also have 
a 486 using the same printer). I also run out of memory on the printer (1 
meg) when using more than two or three fonts on my GS.

        The up side is that you can either use serial or a parallel card 
depending on what you have on your printer. If you don't run into memory 
problems on the printer the output is FANTASTIC. If you are just doing 
straight text in P8 you still have the same speed that you would normally 
get out of the printer (quite fast compared to what you had).
