Laser Printers

Is it possible to run a laser (not ink jet) printer with a gs (in GSOS).

The reason I ask is that we do heaps of printing here, and the ole IW2
is just too slow, so we are looking for a laser printer to speed things
up a bit.

ALthough I have the feeling that there are no laser printer drivers available
for GSOS; I refuse to accept this. With an OS as sofisticated as GSOS, I 
can't believe that there is no way to incorperate a non-poscript to poscript
converter somewhere between the applications and the printer port.
