I'm waaay behind on news here, so bear with me if this is a repeat of something
else already posted...;)

I *USED* to notice a popping noise, but I solved it pretty easy.  I got a pair
of small external amplified speakers (You can find these pretty cheap these
days), turned the system volume down to about 2, and then cranked the volume
on the speakers...VIOLA!  Now I don't hear disk access as much as before!
The clicking in the finder isn't audible over all the fans on my hardware!
(BTW -- This is on a Rom 01 ;)

MODZap sounds great on my machine...now if only Ian would fix the Quadrascope
so it works reliably (yes!!!  I RTFM! :)
