Agreed!

I once used it to convert about two hundred files (long before I had a
SuperDrive and System 6.0.1).  Never again!

If Applied Engineering released technical documentation on the PCT, I
would write a better version of TRANSFER.

If I get annoyed enough, I'll just disassemble the existing one and
find out how to pass files between the PC and Apple.
