Getting System 6.01??

	The first time I tried to ftp ftp.apple.com it said it couldn't
find a name for my ip # xxx.xxx.xxx.xx because it wasn't in the DNS,
Domnain Name Sevice, or that my nameserver was slow and therefore should
try later.  I tried later to get a lot of timouts.  I can't even ping
the site anymore.  Does anybody know what happened to ftp.apple.com?
Could too many people have logged in and they had to shut it down??
Could apple have done it on purpose because of too many, or because they
realized too late that there still were 1,000s of Apple // users that
would log in??  If anyone managed to get the files, please email me and
I'll set up an ftp route for you to send them to me (I NEED to have sys
6.01, ok, I don't NEED, it as I won't DIE, but I would really appreciate
it, plus the transfer idea I have is sort of unique and I'd like to try
it).  Thanx to all....
