The first time I tried to ftp ftp.apple.com it said it couldn't
find a name for my ip # xxx.xxx.xxx.xx because it wasn't in the DNS,
Domnain Name Sevice, or that my nameserver was slow and therefore should
try later.  I tried later to get a lot of timouts.  I can't even ping
the site anymore.  Does anybody know what happened to ftp.apple.com?

I'm glad to see I"m not the only one who had this problem. I wish I knew what was wrong.
