Moria 5.3 is a 'dungeon' or 'rogue'-like game. You create your
intrepid hero (human, halfling, orc, troll, etc.) who can be a certain
class (warrior, mage, priest, rogue, etc.). Then you buy him/her
weapons, armour, supplies, etc. before venturing into the underground
mines. Moria is the name of the mines dug by dwarves in Tolkein's "Lord
of the Rings". Think of it as a single-player AD&D game. The text
screen shows you a map of the dungeon from above as you move around the
corridors and rooms, fighting hundreds of different beasts. You don't
need a shell to run it either. ;-)
