LC (well, LC II) with IIe emulator card:
Yes, it can use the internal hard disk; I created a partition on my hard
disk before I put any software on it. One small piece (10M) was reserved
for the IIe emulator card, the rest was reserved for the Mac.
The IIe card can also use the internal floppy disk.
However: both the hard disk and the floppy disk _seem_ (in my tests)
to be usable only if you boot from one of them. I.E. When you put
the software (included with the IIe card) onto your hard disk partition,
and then put the application on the hard disk and double click on the
application ... you can see the hard disk (and/or floppy).
_Usually_ if I put a 5.25" disk in my (optional) 5.25" drive and
boot from that, it won't recognize the internal disk or floppy.

But I haven't done a whole lot of testing. Just beware of things like
that. I don't have my LC II here, but I think that the internal hard
drive came up as S5,D1 (slot 5, drive 1) and the floppy something
else odd like that. Basically, in order to find the hard disk and
the 3.5" floppy from the IIe, I did a catalog of every slot in the
realm of choices, till I found the one that worked! It's not obvious
how to address them, and I didn't see this listed in the manuals.
