Shipping a hard drive safely

	I'm wondering how I can ship my hard drive safely.

	I'll be moving from Chicago to California in a few weeks, and
I'm taking my Apple IIGS with Quantum 105 external harddrive. I'm not
all that worried about the IIGS, because I only need to pack it up
safely, ship it away, and if it breaks I can just buy a cheap Mac SE
to plug into my hard drive and use that as a terminal instead of my
IIGS.
	But if my hard drive is destroyed, I'll lose all the
information in it. (I know, I'll back it up, but backing up and then
restoring 105 megs onto 800k floppies isn't fun.)

	I'm tempted to just take my hard drive, throw it in a box, and
keep it with me when I'm inthe airplane, and take good care of it.
	Also-- Do I have to worry about X-rays? (Security scanning.)
