Yes... if you have a ROM 3 there should be a jumper that disconnects 
the control panel.  If you have ROM 01s then there is a CDA that does
the same thing but can be bypassed unless you are already in GS/OS.
I forget the name of the CDA but it was called LOCK.CDA or CDA.PROTECT.
Basically if you had it activated you could not access the control panel.
It was freeware but I can't seem to locate my copy at the moment.
Perhaps someone has a copy or can give the where-abouts?  :)
