I have an SMT parallel interface that I'm trying to use with my GS.
The model is Printech II. When I type PR#1 from basic (the quickest
way to test it), I get a blinking cursor and no output to the printer.
I have not checked the cable for any breaks yet (although the cable
appears to be in good shape). Any other suggestions? Should the
speed of my GS (did I neglect to mention I'm using it in my GS)
matter?
my setup:
slot 1: my card
slot 2: modem port
slot 3: stereo card (MDIdeas)
slot 4: Zip GSX 9/32
actually slot 3 and 4 may be switched...
slot 5, 6: disk port
slot 7: RAMFast 2.0something or other
Thanks!
