PUBLIC DOMAIN?

have recently found a Apple II computer for a friend of mine
that is for sale for $50. This friend is very nice but very
poor, and I were would really like her to have it. My
questions regard software copyrights on some of the old Apple II
software. I would like to give her copies of:

FILER
APPLEWRITER
BANKSTREET WRITER
APPLESOFT
PRODOS
LOGO

Does anyone know which of these programs is public domain and
can be copied without violating copyright laws? I have easy access to these.
I don't think it makes much sense for her to buy this computer
without software. But then I can hardly recommend that she
spend her precious money on such antique software either.
If you could respond via email I would appreciate it. I don't
read this group.

Thanks in advance. .

Tony
