Why just the inner/over drives? Yes, the init _does_ result in tell-tale
white or black dots in the menu bar (try running soniqtracker with GS-Spy
running), but considering that I dno't have lights on my hard drive, I think
that it's extremely handy. I might even consider it a small enough sacrifice
if I owned an innerdrive (which I do, but I took out the mechanism and put
it in an external case).
