<sigh> why don't you try using the init once yourself. If you did, you'd
realize that the light in the menubar is to the LEFT of the apple in the
desktop. How many GS/OS programs can you name that will write to the left of
the apple in the menubar?
True, there are instances (splash screens, etc) in which a black or white
box (ProSel 16's menu) will appear, but as I've said a million times before,
it's worth it if you don't have an LED on your drive.
