programming voltage. The LED probably lights up when it is set to program
voltage (12V or 21V depending on the EPROM, the card may only support one
of those; there might be a potentiometer or something else to let you pick
the actual voltage that gets switched in).
Do try PR#n'ing the card. I had one of these a while ago and that was how
you entered the on-board programming routines. To program something, load it
into memory first and then 'boot' the programmer board.
