Enhancing a //e

    I just recently bought a used unenhanced //e and I was wondering if  
anyone could answer a few questions for me.

    First, is there any way to get an enhancement kit to upgrade it to an  
enhanced //e? (I'm assuming that Apple no longer makes or sells the kits)  
If not, is it possible to find the necessary chips somewhere?
    Second, the //e has an Epson APL parallel printer interface card. Is  
it possible to use that card in my old ][+ or will the computer fry it?
    Third, what are the latest versions of ProDos and Appleworks that will  
work on the //e? Are they still being sold anywhere?
