fast gal chips for twgs

The chips ARE available now and have been available for quite some time
directly from Applied Engineering.

DO NOT call the sales line, they don't have a clue what you are talking
about. Call the technical support line (you know that 900 number).

The most recent GAL chips are as follows:
TWGS2B - for DMA fix
TWGS3E - Timing fix for above 10MHz operation
TWGS4B - (not too sure about this one)
TWGS8B - (likewise)

Any time I have ever needed a replacement for a dead one, I have always
been able to but them from AE by calling the tech support line. The real
catch, they charge you $20.00 each plus shipping.

90% of the problems with the TWGS are cable related. If your TWGS is
flakey, try bending the cable stright out and put the TW in slot 4. If
this solves your problems, get a new cable.
