Now whenever I get unusual problems, I reseat all cards and chips. More
often than not, this usually solves my problems.

Since Dec. '89, I have perhaps seen such a message about 3 times, and I
still have the original ribbon cable without that dot. I think the last
time was when I tried to reset the moment I turned on my GS.
