WHAT???  i've never heard of such things...  the walkmans (is that the
right pluralization?) that i've seen have all had 1/8" jacks.  the actual
dimensions don't vary that much from the nominal dimension, and certainly
not an entire 1/16".  3/8" is _much_ bigger than the 1/4" standard size.
