Dean,

Great news! My mission is accomplished!!! ;-)

In fact, this was one of my main goals, to try and attract software
developers back to the IIgs. We see quite a bit of ingenuity in the
Apple II hardware side of things, but not much in the software side.

Don't get me wrong, there are a few great programming stalwarts left
(you know who you are!), and then there's me who's a relative newcomer
to the IIgs (got my 1st IIgs in 2006), but it would be nice to see the
number of developers increase so that we start to see some new
software developed for this machine. Its never going to rival a modern
day PC, but it will be fun to see how far we can push the old
beast. ;-)

This is why I have chosen to release all of my source code as freeware
- so that others might gain from the time I have spent learning
things. It makes starting a project of your own that much easier when
you can see how someone else goes about things.

If you, or anyone else for that matter, needs help understanding
anything I've done, or need advice on how to do something, feel free
to email me directly. Else post on c.s.a2.programmer where I and
others can lend a helping hand when required.

Cheers,
Mike
