As far as I understand, Prince of Persia was FIRST released for the Apple //e,
BEFORE the IBM and Crapintosh versions were written.  From what I remember in
the manual, the author was an apple // user from way back, and this piece of
software was a bit of a triumph for him.  I believe that the main purpose of
Prince of Persia was for it to be written on the Apple //.  I could be wrong,
though.  There was never a gs release, but it would be INCREDUIBLY easy to do
considering the animation is just object animation and there are no full screen
scrolls.  I have seen the //e version, and its not too bad at all.
