Aren't super drives supposed to read MS-DOS disks?

I have a //GS equipped with, what I think is, a SuperDrive (it is platinum 
in color).  I understand that these are suppose to read MS-DOS disks.  I run 
System 6 and was wondering if there is an MS-DOS FST available?  Right now, 
I have a PCT w/ dual 5.4" 360k drives which is a major pain in the butt 
because I don't even use 360k disks on my PC, being able to read 720k MS-DOS 
disks would be MUCH, much easier.
