There is a fourth option, the FDC-10 disk controller card from CTI
(as mentioned in the FAQ) could do the job also. It needs the drivers
written though. Reading Writing can be done by calling routines in an
assembly library supplied with the controller card. I do not know exactly
what it would take to make it work with the FST, as I do not have a GS.
I am working on utilities for this controller card to copy files to
and from a Prodos disk to IBM formatted disks on a IIe. A format routine
is also possible, but there is currently no software provided to
do this task. (The drives are IBM drives, so prodos disks formatted on
these drives are not readable or writable by Apple drives!)
