Yes. Once you load the file into AppleWorks, you can print it to a text
(ascii) file on disk with return- or tab-delimited fields (if I remember
correctly).
Perhaps Mr. Virden wants to process the files without having AppleWorks
running. In that case, there are some filetype sheets that you can buy
from the National AppleWorks Users Group, or NAUG (see part 2 of FAQ for
phone number and address), that explain the format of a database file
in detail. They also have such information for word processor and
spread sheet files available.
