Can the IIe ram card be used as a GS ram disk?

A friend of mine said that it is possible to make a IIe ram card into a 
GS RAM DISK (not RAM!). Is this even remotely possible or should I kick 
his teeth in? If it is, HOW?

My second question is:
Is it possible to directly run System 6's launcher? 
Because I only have 1.25 megs of RAM (01 ROM)... if yes, HOW? Is there a 
executeable file (prodos system file, I mean) that all I have to do is 
load using a simple ProDOS file on diskette?
