At last week's Apple Expo West, the Apple Resource Center of Tracy, Calif
(1-800-753-0114) had a display going on a IIc using a Video 7 Grayscale
Enhancement unit. Even the owner of the ARC admitted that he'd never heard
of these before he bought a slew of them.

What they do is improve the video display on monochrome monitors. In fact,
the ARC had two IIc's set up running the same software. One had the Video 7
adaptor and one didn't. The differences were quite remarkable, and I'm sure
that this Video 7 unit is exactly what you are looking for.

I'm not sure of the price and I'm not sure of exact name of the product, but
do know that it was built by Video 7 and I think it is called the Grayscale
Enhancement unit. If you call ARC, they'll know when you describe what you
want.

I'd never heard of these units before, but they were quite impressive.
