  I highly recommend that whoever does the buying does NOT get a
Seagate.  I know tons of people (including myself) who have had
Seagates develop stiction problems WAY before they should.

  I've got a Conner CP3200, and it's a VERY nice drive, so I imagine
that their >1G drives are also amazing.  I've also heard recently of

times of 8.5ms, and head transfer rates in the neighborhood of 5Mbps.
