   You forgot one thing.  (Or didn't know).  The mail to and from AOL is not
done with a connection to the InterNet.  It is done through UUCP.  That's why
they can do it for free.  GEnie opened an actual connection from GEnie to the
net for other purposes and allowed a way to justify it by charging for it.
