As it ships, the Select 300 is not usable from a GS without proper
drivers (it's similar to the Stylewriter I and II in that regard).
At least, I think so.
If you upgrade the 300 with Postscript, it becomes a 310 (you lose all
of the features of the 300 that the 310 doesn't have). It seems to
make more sense just to buy the 310 in your case.
