   yes.  my roommate and i share my deskjet 500.  it has both a parallel and serial
port so we can both be connected at the same time.  it works out pretty good as long
we don't try to print out at the same time!  if you have a PCT it also works from
there.  i've got latex on my pct and it works great (but it's really slow to print
from the pct, so use HPDownloader on the gs to print out the dvi processed files).

	really!?  i paid $390 for mine.  the dj550 has come out so maybe the 500 is
coming down in price.

	yes.  the stylewrite driver comes with gs/os6.0.  you have to buy a driver for the
deskjet.  i use independence from Seven Hills.
