Will one of the Boy Scouts on the net please help this poor soul out with
simple answers to the following questions:
FIRST - How will this archive be accessed by someone, for example, from
Clearwater, Florida? Please include an example of a BBS address.
SECOND - Who would bear the burden of long distance telephone charges for
time I, for example, from Clearwater, Florida, used downloading goodies
from the archive? (Let's assume the SySop of the board I use does not
presently charge for the services of this local BBS.)
Or, putting it differently, is ProLine sophisticated enough to calculate a
separate LD cost for me if, for example, I used 15 minutes of long
distance downloading time from Clearwater, Florida to, for example,
somewhere in California using the ProLine circuits? Or would I call a
specific phone number (of the archive) in California and have the phone
company bill me directly?
I feel I need simple, straightforward answers to both questions before I
can ante up the $20 (that has already been promised).
Perhaps there are others as dumb as me who would also appreciate the
answers.
