You could fake it though with the manager. Since I gathering money for GNO
I figured a way to run sp in the background with Orca/Shell in the meantime.
Simply, with the manager, run one copy of orca.sys16 to play mods and
background it with the manager, then I do run another copy of orca.sys16
and get some programming done.
There's just some minor annoyances.
(1) SP loops all songs so I gotta go back to it and change songs.
(There's nothing like a real jukebox ability such as in sT and MT).
(2) Don't ever try compiling while you're running play mod! It's guaranteed
to crash.
(3) Trying to run shellplay again in another copy of orca/shell will kill
the sounds from the one that was playing...
(4) System sounds that call sysbeep() or sysbeep2() will interrupt sp also
kill the sounds from the player.
Yes, I realize this is messy and (could be) totally stupid, but it's about the
only thing I can do with what I have.
BTW, you need plenty of memory to do this and using the minilauncher instead
of the finder/Manger part to conserve memory. (I don't need to as I just
upgraded to 4 mbs :)
